enables Texas Instruments customers to quickly design and release to market systems using TI industrial Ethernet PHY transceiver devices fully compliant to EN5501 Class A EMI requirements. A 50 Pin Interface has been provided for interface with 32-Bit Cortex M4 processor based Controller board. The Board has been designed in a small (2inches x 3 inches) form factor which makes it easy to fit into any of the present products. This reference design platform demonstrates the advanced performance of the TLK10xL Ethernet PHY transceiver devices. The design supports 10/100 Base-T and is compliant with IEEE 802.3 standard. The reference design operates from a single power supply (5V with On-Board regulator or 3.3V). All other voltages required for the Ethernet PHY transceiver are internally generated within the device. Features
Low Power Consumption: < 270mW
EMI compliant to EN5501 Class A
TLK105L Industrial Temp Ethernet PHY with MII and RMII interface options
Programmable LED Support Link, Activity
External isolation transformer with Choke on PHY side for improved EMI/EMC performance
HBM ESD protection on RD± and TD± of 16kV
The Ethernet PHY has been interfaced and tested with TM4C129XN CZAD 32-bit ARM® Cortex™-M4F MCU. The drivers required to interface TLK105L to the MCU is available.
